Privacy
Last changed 2 September 2026. The short version: your PDF is processed by a machine, kept for at most 24 hours, and then deleted. There is no account, no profile and no tracking.
Who is responsible

What we process, and for how long

Your document is never read by a person, never used to train anything, and never shared. It is inspected page by page by an automated process, written back out, and deleted.
Why we are allowed to
Processing your document, and taking payment for it, is necessary to perform the contract you entered into by uploading and paying. Technical logging rests on our legitimate interest in keeping the service available and unabused. Financial records are kept because Dutch tax law requires it — those are held by Mollie and in our own bookkeeping, and contain no part of your document.
Who else touches it
Google Cloud (Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, Firestore) hosts the service in the Netherlands, region europe-west4, under a data processing agreement. Mollie B.V. in Amsterdam handles payment; what you enter on their checkout page goes to them, not to us. Nothing is sent anywhere else, and no processing takes place outside the European Union.
Cookies
None. No analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels. While you are paying, your browser holds a payment identifier in its own session storage so it can pick the job back up when Mollie returns you to the site; it is cleared when you close the tab and it never reaches us as a cookie.
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data, and object to processing. In practice there is usually nothing left to give you: after 24 hours the document and everything derived from it are gone, and we cannot connect a credit code to a person. Mail info@delectat.nl and we will answer within a month.
If you think we handled your data badly, you can complain to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
